IN THE STUDIO

It came from the desert -

Desert dog studios was started by Ron santee in Joshua Tree, California in 2021. It began as a mobile home studio space that could be packed up easily to record virtually anywhere. from 2021 and 2023, Santee produced, mixed and mastered three full length solo albums, two EP’s and began producing music for other artists. AFTER A Deal with Bank Robber/Rough Trade PUBLISHING, Santee moved the Studio across the country and Back to his home state of New Jersey.

Desert Dog Studios is located right on the beautiful Mirror Lake in Browns Mills, NJ. We operate as a fully functional recording studio for music and artists of all genres. We also provide space for podcasts, voice-over sessions, painting, photo shoots and much more.

We provide lodging for those who wish to stay for longer periods of time. You will have your own bathroom, guest room and full kitchen. In your downtime you can enjoy kayaking, fishing and swimming right out the front door. The main goal here is that our artists are comfortable and ready to create and produce the best art possible in a different kind of environment.
