Founded by artist and producer Ron Santee, Pine Barrens Music Collective is an independent network dedicated to developing and distributing original music with strong identity and placement potential.
Based in the heart of New Jersey’s Pine Barrens, on a 100 year old lakeside retreat is a full recording studio, on-site artist lodging and creative artist hub. PBMC brings together a curated roster of artists whose work is authentic, diverse, and fully release-ready — from production to delivery. Each project is crafted with intention, ensuring every track meets industry standards for streaming, playlisting, and sync opportunities alike.
In partnership with Bank Robber Publishing / Rough Trade, Pine Barrens bridges the gap between independent creativity and professional infrastructure — giving artists the tools, community, and representation needed to thrive across platforms and placements.
Pine Barrens MUSIC COLLECTIVE was founded by artist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Ron Santee. After working with Bankrobber Publishing (Rough Trade Records), Santee developed a diverse catalog of artists he recorded, produced, and befriended along the way.
Launched in 2025, Pine Barrens Music Collective serves as a platform to empower independent musicians with the resources and guidance needed to land meaningful sync opportunities. Our focus is on connecting independent artists and songwriters with professional placements in TV, film, commercials, and advertising — while keeping the process simple, fast, and artist-friendly.
